How Did WORKHERO Get Here?
WORKHERO was started as a direct result of a problem encountered by its Founder, Trisha DuVivier, while she was working for the federal government:
“HR and Executive Management were not positioned to save me from the workplace trenches that were making me miserable…despite having tons of resources. They were all too absorbed in their own problems.”
In 2019, Trisha and WORKHERO’s Co-Founder, Jasmine Mencias, decided to combine their unique skill sets to solve the problem in a comprehensive and innovative way and WORKHERO was born.
WORKHERO’s Founder and CEO, Trisha DuVivier, holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She has over 10 years of work experience in the private and public sectors.
For over 6 years, she worked as a Therapist in private practice where she regularly provided treatment to individuals who suffered from anxiety, depression, and work-related crises. In the public sector, she worked as an Information Analyst and Threat Assessor for the Department of Justice.
WORKHERO’s Co-Founder and Chief People and Operations Officer, Jasmine Pablo, holds a B.A. in Theatre and an M.S. in Human Resource Management both from the University of Southern California. Jasmine has over 15 years of experience in customer service and over 7 years of experience in Organizational Improvement.
WORKHERO’s Chief Brand Officer, January Swiderski, attended the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and has over 8 years of legal experience in the public sector. For the past 6 years, January has worked in the private sector focusing on the operations and development of internationally franchised organizations.
